Our Name on Sacramento’s Shirt: Phoong Law Is Republic FC’s Official Back-of-Kit Partner

On the evening of July 4, as Sacramento Republic FC took the field in Tulsa, something new traveled with the club. Stitched onto the back of every match jersey, just below the player numbers, was a name that started in a small Sacramento office and now stands with the city’s team: Phoong Law.

For our firm, and for our founder Anh Phoong, that moment was about much more than a logo placement. It was a hometown story coming full circle.

The Announcement: A Multi-Year Kit Partnership

On July 1, 2026, Sacramento Republic FC officially announced a multi-year partnership naming Phoong Law the club’s official back-of-kit partner through the 2027 USL Championship season. The Phoong Law name now appears on the back of every Republic FC match jersey, below the player numbers, at every home and away fixture.

The partnership made its on-field debut on Saturday, July 4, when Republic FC traveled to face FC Tulsa, and fans in Sacramento got their first in-person look on Wednesday, July 8, when the club hosted Rhode Island FC at Heart Health Park.

Brian Hastings, Republic FC’s Vice President of Partnerships, put it this way in the club’s announcement: “Phoong Law is one of Sacramento’s most recognized names.” He added that Anh’s “commitment to this community is exactly what we look for in a partner.”

We could not have said it better. This is a partnership built on a shared belief: that Sacramento shows up for its own.

Why Soccer, and Why Now

People who know Anh Phoong know that nothing she does is just business. This partnership started, like so many things in her life, at home.

“Sacramento has given so much to my family,” Anh shared when the partnership was announced. “Soccer is especially close to our hearts because my daughter, Annie, plays.”

If you have ever spent a Saturday morning on the sidelines of a youth soccer game, you understand. Soccer in Sacramento is folding chairs and orange slices, carpools and cleats left by the front door. It is one of the most accessible sports in the world, played in every neighborhood in this region, by kids from every background. It is also the sport that fills Heart Health Park with 10,000 voices on match nights, singing for a club that has always called itself “Indomitable.”

Those sidelines are where our clients live their lives. The families we represent every day are the same families cheering in those stands and driving to those practices. A Sacramento Story, From the Beginning

Anh Phoong was born and raised in Sacramento. She graduated as valedictorian from Lincoln Law School of Sacramento and built Phoong Law from the ground up in her hometown before growing the firm across California, Nevada, and Texas.
