Nothing upfront. Phoong Law works on a contingency fee basis, which means we only get paid if you get paid. There are no hourly rates, no retainers, and no hidden fees. If we don't win your case, you owe us nothing.
It depends on your state. In California, you generally have two years from the date of the injury. In Nevada, it's also two years. In Texas, the deadline is two years as well. But in certain cases, like claims against a government entity, the deadlines are much shorter. The sooner you call, the stronger your case.
You can still recover compensation. California and Nevada follow comparative negligence rules, meaning your award is reduced by your percentage of fault but not eliminated. Texas allows recovery as long as you are less than 51% at fault. Insurance companies will try to shift blame onto you, that's exactly why you need an attorney in your corner.
Every case is different. The value depends on your medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, and how the injury has affected your daily life. We evaluate all of these factors during your free consultation and fight for the maximum amount you're entitled to.
Even minor accidents can lead to serious injuries that show up days or weeks later, whiplash, soft tissue damage, and herniated discs are common examples. Insurance companies will rush to settle for the lowest amount possible before you know the full extent of your injuries. A quick consultation can help you understand what your claim is actually worth before you accept anything.
You may still be covered. Your own auto policy may include uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage that protects you in exactly this situation. We review your policy, identify every available source of recovery, and make sure you're not left paying out of pocket for someone else's negligence.
